uncommon flowers for uncommon objects

Pollen does flowers for the front display case at a wonderful shop on South Congress called Uncommon Objects. I just had to share the one above which includes succulents, blooming passionvine, ebony tulips, and pincushions.

Uncommon Objects is truly one of the funkiest antique stores in the country, started many years ago by artist Steve Wiman. The front windows and in-store displays are always a surprising collection that juxtaposes quirkiness with beauty. Some recent items include a taxidermy boar head, a metal birthing table, and, specially created for Valentine's Day, a heart made from 30 red items in the shop pinned onto the wall in the front window.
