I can't wait to see the pro images of this wedding... the little wood box centerpieces had all the same textural foliage used in the bouquets plus cotton on the stem.

A bit more of a classic wedding than we usually do... perfect for Austin's 'old-school' downtown venue The Austin Club. A little lily of the valley never hurts in cases like this.

Paige Newton captured the recent Loot Warehouse Warming Party so beautifully - especially this tablescape created in the intimate tableware storage room by Emily at Bird Dog Wedding. (I want those gold-dipped bottles!) I contributed a few tiny arrangements to finish it off. Gorgeous calligraphy by Alison at Wayfarer's Creative.

Emily applied ranunculus, spray roses and straw flowers to antlers in her booth - love it.... I just wish I'd gotten a picture of the gold foliage and peonies she put in the copper tubing bud vases attached to the wall in the ladies' room. Thanks ladies for such a beautiful event!

Suzi at Q Weddings captured some personal flowers that I just couldn't let slip by without documenting well... vibrant shades of blue and green, with the Maids holding vintage books (some about Elves of the Forest!) accented with flowers and ribbon ripped from yardage.

Suzi at Q Weddings was nice enough to take some shots of bouquets and wrist corsages (above) and centerpieces (below) before I delivered them to Trattoria Lisina last fall... I think she captured the earthiness of the radishes, tree mushrooms and terracotta containers beautifully.

I took a few shots once the tables were all set up and candles were lit... This is one of my favorite ways to do a table, layer it with seasonal fruit and vegetables like blood oranges, figs, artichokes, lemons, rosemary, sage, olives on the branch, radishes and succulents. And of course grapewood because Trattoria Lisina sits on a winery.
