I provided some flowers for
Katy Horan's studio on this year's
East Austin Studio Tour. I tried to hit the right bittersweet note that her beautiful artwork evokes. Yucca branches, jasmine vine, Juliette garden roses, pieris, amaryllis and Dutchman's Pipe carnivorous pitchers.

I love your blog but I noticed a discrepancy... Dutchman's pipe (Aristolochia) is not actually related to a pitcher plant and is not carniverous. I grow both in my garden and they are quite different, but maybe this is how your wholesaler labeled the pitcher plants you are using? I LOVE the wasp nests!!!
